We bought this because our pentamix broke but by the time it arrived realized that assistant put cartridge in wrong. I only took off the top Styrofoam to take photo. Yes that is the way it lays in shipping box. Brand new pentamix 3 in box with manuals.
If you live in NYC NJ can come pick it up at the office and save shipping. It was opened by my staff when arrived but never removed from the box.
