The filter is new in the box and came from a municipal stock room after it was determined to be surplus stock the filter has been kept in a stock room environment, and may have been sitting on the shelf for some time. I won't sell a filter on here if the filter came originally sealed and the seal was broken.
Some boxes may appear handled and or dusty on the outside, but the filter looks good. Other filters that doesn come from the manufacturer with a sealed wrapper, I try to check and make sure they are presentable. I just want full disclosure and would never want to mislead a buyer in any way.
